Before construction, the Reynolds pads should be well prepared for basic treatment. One is to ensure the appearance, and the other is to ensure the stability and practicality in the later stage, otherwise the Reynolds pads will be difficult to get out of the water. When constructing, we first roughly organize it, and then carefully organize it, usually from top to bottom.

We can use machines or people as the foundation. While working, do not dig beyond the range. When using the machine, clean up any broken surfaces. Sometimes when there is a big flood, we have to drain the water and compact it in layers.

1. Laying

After the foundation is inspected to meet the planning requirements, Renault pads are laid on the formed slope, and then paved manually. During the laying process, be careful not to artificially damage the Reynolds pad. The geotechnical material and the bearing layer fit together naturally, and cannot be suspended or wrinkled.

Check the appearance of the Reynolds pads for pitting, damage, holes and other problems. If the above problems exist, they should be repaired immediately with fresh wood. After laying and before covering, use 20~40KN heavy sandbags to press the corners to prevent strong wind from blowing up. During the construction of the Renault pad, the method of segmented construction is selected for construction.

2. Installation

(1) First, bring the cages of each Reynolds pad unit closer together, and then tie the cages together to form a cage group.

(2) According to the planning requirements, bind the joints of the net body and the joints of the spacer net.

(3) According to the planning requirements, tie the four corners close to the cushion cage, tie the upper and lower adjacent sides close to the cage according to the construction drawing, and tighten M.

(4) When installing large-area net cages with bedding materials, due to the relatively large construction area, more than 200m2 of installation can be completed at one time. During the construction process, the steel pipe scaffolding can be used to fix the large-area Renault cushion box, and then the large-volume gabion cushion net can be hoisted.

3. Stone filling

(1) Use 120350mm. standard stone for filling. Check the quality of the stone before filling to ensure that the grading is good.

(2) After the Renault pads are installed, fill a set of pad grids together. In order to ensure the integrity of the gabion shape, it is not allowed to fill the grid at one time.

(3) After filling a layer of filler, steel bars must be bound before the next layer of stone can be filled. The top surface of the filling stone is higher than the cushion layer to ensure the compactness and flatness of the filling surface.

(4) During the stone filling process, the stone materials should overlap each other, and the appearance of the stone materials after filling should be manually leveled. After the cage is built, fill the voids with soil that conforms to the plan, and tamp down some sections. The filling height of the top cage should be controlled above 5cm. According to the basic requirements of construction drawings and planning documents, select shrubs or grass species for cultivation, and do a good job of maintenance.

4. Cover the net box

(1) After rock filling, flatten the pre-prepared cage cover, lay it on the outer surface of the Renault pad set along the length of the slope, and then seal the rock filling in the mesh pad to form a pad cage cover.

(2) According to the planning requirements, bind the four corners of each mat-type cage and the cage cover ring, and bind the cage, spacer net and cage cover ring at the position where the edge line is inserted, and the binding distance is 250~290mm181.

(3) Carry out the construction of Renault pads according to the environmental conditions, and use the method of block-by-block construction until all the pads and cages are constructed.

(4) The laid Renault pad should be beautiful and engineered, and should not be uneven or wrinkled.
