1. Main material
(1) The lead wire gabion should meet the current national standards, and should have a product certificate and product performance specification.
(2) The technical indicators of the stones filled with lead wire gabions shall meet the following requirements:

2. Transportation and storage of lead wire gabion
(1) The lead wire gabion shall be labeled with the manufacturer name, manufacturing number (or assembly number), installation number, type, size and weight of the lead wire. And should be accompanied by special loading and unloading and operating instructions.
(2) The lead wire gabion should be properly preserved during transportation and after arriving at the construction site, and should be stored in a place that is not damaged and easily accessible, and the number of loading and unloading should be minimized.
3. Laying
(1) All tree roots, weeds and sharp stones should be removed on the paving surface to ensure that the surface of the sand and gravel pad is flat and no protruding or concave parts are allowed. Drain all standing water from the area of ​​the laying work.
(2) Before the lead wire gabion is laid, the cleaning of the slope should be completed. After the slope surface is cleared, the construction shall be carried out according to the drawing requirements.
(3) The laying of lead wire gabions should be determined according to factors such as embankment height, stress direction of materials, flood control requirements during construction, and minimizing the number of joints, and should meet the requirements of construction drawings. The laying of lead wire gabions should be synchronized with the surrounding filling.
(4) The laying equipment shall not be directly driven or operated on the lead wire gabion at any time, and it shall be ensured that the material will not be damaged during laying.
(5) The lead wire gabion damaged during the construction process should be repaired in time. Before repairing the lead wire gabion, the materials that do not meet the requirements under the damaged part of the protective layer should be removed, and qualified materials should be filled in, and To be leveled. For the damaged lead wire gabion, a layer of qualified lead wire gabion should be laid outside the damaged part, and the length of each side should be at least 1m longer than the damaged part, and the two should be spliced.
4. Connection and packing
(1) Cut the lead wire gabion to the corresponding size with pliers according to the design requirements, and lay it at the designated position.
(2) Connect the cut gabion transverse ribs and vertical ribs to the bottom gabion with lead wires. When connecting, the staggered binding method should be adopted, and each node should be tied into a dead button.
(3) When two pieces of gabion are overlapped, 250px overlap should be left, and the connecting lead wire should be used for "Zhi" type staggered binding.
(4) The gaps connected by connecting lead wires should be placed in concealed places as much as possible to prevent man-made damage.
(5) When filling stones, use artificial filling stones to ensure that the shape of the gabion is not damaged. When filling, in order to ensure the smoothness of the surface of the gabion, the uniform pebbles are manually placed on the lead wire surface to the top in an orderly manner in the direction close to the outer surface, and then a large amount of remaining stones are filled.
(6) Connection method: When connecting, it should be wound horizontally along the joint of two gabions for a distance of 300mm, and then bound at the vertical ribs, and continue to the end connection according to this method.
5. Quality inspection and acceptance during the construction period of the lead wire gabion During the construction process, the quality inspection and acceptance of the following items shall be carried out on the construction quality of the materials:
(1) Appearance inspection before covering Before each layer of lead wire gabion is covered, visually inspect whether there is any missing connection and whether the laying is smooth.
(2) Test and inspection of seam strength
Take a sample for every 1000m2 for tensile strength test. It is required that the strength of the joint is not lower than 80% of the base material, and the fracture of the specimen must not be at the joint, otherwise the joint is unqualified.
(3) Quality inspection of lead wire gabion project
1) Before the filling of the lead wire gabion project, the inspection of the measurement and lofting results and the inspection and acceptance of the quality of the excavation and cleaning of the foundation surface shall be carried out according to the relevant contents of this technical specification.
2) During the process of lead wire gabion entering the factory and filling, check and accept the various material indicators and filling quality of the project according to the regulations.
3) Inspection and acceptance of the outline, surface smoothness, filling density and other items of the lead wire gabion.
4) Surface flatness: allowable deviation ± 30mm; the thickness of the paving material shall not be less than 10% of the specified thickness, and shall not be too thick.
(5) When filling stones, use artificial filling stones to ensure that the shape of the gabion is not damaged. When filling, in order to ensure the smoothness of the surface of the gabion, the uniform pebbles are manually placed on the lead wire surface to the top in an orderly manner in the direction close to the outer surface, and then a large amount of remaining stones are filled.
